Emma graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) degree in chiropractic, and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council GCC as a Doctor of Chiropractic to treat humans. In 2006 Emma was certified by the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic IAVC and is registered with the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association IVCA to treat animals. In 2007 Emma was awarded a Post-graduate Certificate by the Welsh Institute of Chriopractic in Chiropractic Clinic Development. Emma grew up around animals in Cornwall and still has 4 horses and 2 ponies as well as 2 dogs and 1 cat. Emma has ridden since she was 18 months old, grew up with the Four Burrow Pony Club and has competed for most of her life, initially in BSPS showing, then at 11 years old she moved on to BSJA ponies and at 14 years old started BE eventing, as well as competing side-saddle. The two ponies Emma owns are used as companion ponies for her nearly-full Thoroughbred brood-mare and the progeny. Emma currently has one competition horse and enjoys eventing him in Cornwall and Devon (although she does do dressage, showing and show-jumping as well).
